What sets me apart? Let me tell you a bit about myself.
- Double Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Italian studies from the University of Western Australia.
- Masters degree in Interpreting and Translation studies from Monash University.
During my studies, I’ve travelled to Italy several times, often to the smaller northern cities of Treviso and Bergamo for extended periods of time to get a solid grasp on the Italian language and culture.
This launched me into my career as a freelancer. For two years I was an interpreter in medical settings for members of the Italian community in Australia.
In this role, I was able to fine-tune my linguistic skills, while also kick-starting my online translation business in the background.In 2022, I moved to Italy for one year, where I used my language skills on a daily basis.
By now you might have picked up that I have next to zero Italian heritage, but you would have also noticed that I am passionate about the language. I maintain close ties with Italy to ensure my skills and knowledge are up to date, and most importantly I am constantly motivated to enhance my abilities and provide the best services for you.
So, you can be sure that with my extensive experience in the Italian language and culture, combined with my Australian upbringing, I have an invaluable and comprehensive understanding of both languages - which makes me the perfect professional for the job.

I have over 5 years of professional experience as a freelancer. I am a NAATI certified translator from Italian into English and an AUSIT Member.

A constant drive for self-development and growth - I’m a firm believer that there is always more to learn. A year abroad in Italy opened my eyes to the limitless nature of language learning.
Always seeking new challenges, I am now living in Denmark where I am also studying Danish and Hungarian on the side.
